About Foley Mansion

History

The Foley Mansion was built in 1889 by a lumber and railroad magnate. The completed price tag to originally build the home was $35,000. The Arvig’s, Carmen and Allen, renovated the home.

Foley Mansion Added to Historic Places in 1978

The Foley–Brower–Bohmer House is an example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, and the only building in the city to retain much of its original appearance. Notable features include a conical tower, decorative stonework, stained and curved glass windows, and elaborate interior woodwork.
